High Impact Home Updates

When it comes to renovating and updating your home, changes can really run the gamut from relatively accessible to a big investment of time and budget. Over the years, we’ve worked on projects of all scopes and sizes, but we’ll always love helping clients with lower-touch projects. Below you’ll find a few of our favourite ways to update your home, without a massive investment of time or money.

Painting

This goes without saying, but we love working with clients on painting projects. Painting a room is one of the quickest and most affordable ways to make a huge change in your house. Whether it’s a refresh of a similar colour to what you have, or a bigger change of colour palette, a fresh coat of paint is a surefire way to make a space feel brand new.

If you’re curious about working with Enteco to paint your home, we are pleased to offer complimentary design consultations in Calgary with our preferred interior designers. This is a great way to land on the best colours for your home before moving ahead with your painting project.

Kitchen & Bath Finishes

If you have a kitchen or bathroom layout that works well for you, updating finishes like the cabinet colour, countertops, backsplash, and fixtures is a great way to make a big upgrade in your house without having to get in to layout changes. We work on a lot of projects like this, and in the case of kitchens, often make the whole house feel refreshed when the centre of the home is upgraded.

This is a perfect option if you feel like the current finishes in your kitchen or bath are dating the space. Updating cabinet colours, fixtures, and surfaces can give the whole space a big lift.

Refinishing

Over time, you may notice wear and tear in areas like stairwells or other wood surfaces. Having these areas refinished makes them feel new again and is a great way to refresh your home without a renovation. You can see an example above of stair treads that we refinished, and it made a big difference!
